Children have a huge imagination and if you ask them about their pets they will tell you so many stories about them. This is exactly how My Dog Talks story is. The child has a dog named Sam and he is his best friend. The illustrations of the book enhance the story a lot and the story itself has some humor to it. Especially when the boy says, “I tell him to do my homework. He rolls over.” The boy understands that Sam the dog is not that smart and will not do his homework. It is obvious though that the readers may also think that their pets are their best friend, whether young or older reader. The readers can relate to this boy and his dog because they may do what the boy does with his dog, which is walk the dog and see other dogs and think what the dog means when he barks. I can see many parents reading this book to their children, especially as a bedtime story and before buying them a pet. Also, many student’s may love this book because they may love dogs and that is why they would want to read it too. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
