The Apostles Creed is one of the earliest summaries of the Christian faith, and is accepted by most forms of Christianity. It is a simple statement of 12 beliefs - each central to Christianity. It begins with: "I believe", and each of the 12 statements is the statement of a certain belief, thus the title of the book. This is an important contribution to understanding the meaning of Christianity. Written in easy to understand, but never superficial, language. This is a particularly engaging book, for anyone who wants to understand Christian thought, and gain a deeper appreciation of it.
