The hyena was very gullible and innocent so I started to feel kind of bad for him towards the end. I think that kids could gain a good lesson about playful teasing and sharing with others from this book. ( ) Summary: This book is about how greedy hyenas get taught a lesson. A hyena steals a hawks fish so the hawk pranks the hyenas by telling them they can eat to moon. They hyenas all fall and get hurt trying to eat the moon and learn their lesson very quickly. Opinion: I love hyenas so this book was very cute to me. It's a good lesson about greed and foolishness that I think would be great for a classroom. I wonder if it is a folktale or not because it sounded like one. Fable Multicultural (Africa) Greedy hyena, clever Fish Eagle. The hyena is blinded by hunger to climb to reach the greatest piece of meat (the moon) because Fish Eagle tricked him into thinking the sweet honeycomb was meat. The hyena can not run fast anymore and the Fish Eagle soars high above and screeches whenever he thinks about the trick on the mean hyena. This book is about the greedy hyena who tricked the fish eagle to steal her fish. She came up with a plan to take him down a notch so she told him to come eat the sweetest meet he's ever eaten. Once hyena wants more, fish eagle invites all hyenas to the lake where they stack up on top each other to try to make it to the moon. They clearly can't reach it, so they fall down into the crocodiles lake where they narrowly escape but are taught a lesson. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
