The only reason I listened to this all the way through was because I had no other audiobook in the car. The characters are cardboard thin. The plot has holes in it you could drive a truck through. Just because a book is intended for a young audience doesn't mean they don't deserve a good plot and three-dimensional characters.

I like the book though it had a slow start. The main character was like a little ailing the more time I spent with him the more I became annoyed but at the end I ended up liking him anyway ( )

Steven (steel) Trapp has a photographic memory which can be useful at times and a curse at others.Steel and his mother Judy Trapp are on a train to Washington D.C to the science Challenge where the smartest kids from each state go to compete. A women left a briefcase on the train, and got off without it. Steel try's to give it back to her but she says its not hers. Steel then heads towards his destination. Once he gets there he goes to his hotel and waits for the challenge to begin.At the Challenge he thinks that he sees his dad back stage, and runs off trying to find him.

this book will be one of the best books ( )

Lighter than I expected from Ridley Pearson but still enjoyable. ( )
