Somewhere in the Australian outback, on land left to her by a late relative she never met, American photographer Erin Windsor believes a diamond mine might be waiting with the promised yield of millions of dollars in raw gems. But the old man took its location with him to the grave. Erin's not the only one in the hunt, though she's easily the least ruthless...and most vulnerable. Blood will stain the trail to a precious, well-hidden secret, and she must turn to Cole Blackburn for help or face the killing night alone. A geologist and a walking mystery with ties to powerful forces that are now Erin's enemies, Cole is a dangerous man to trust, but she has no choice. Because life is too short to throw away your dreams, no matter how treacherous the pursuit of them might be. And death is forever.… (plus d'informations)

Erin Shane Windsor is left a legendary diamond mine in western Australia by a great-uncle she never even knew she had. But the old man took the secret of the mine's location to his grave. All he left behind were cryptic clues written in verse -- and some very dangerous enemies who'd like nothing better than to claim the mine themselves. To help her, Erin hires Cole Blackburn, a geologist with a mysterious past who has his own reasons for wanting to find the treasure. From glamorous San Francisco and London to the hauntingly beautiful Australian outback, this sensational romantic thriller takes you on an unforgettable roller-coaster ride. ( )

Just added the electronic version of this book to my Nook. This book is one I tend to reread at least once a year, it calls to me from the bookshelf. While all the books in this series are great reads this one is just a fabulous read and never gets old. The setting, the industry, the intrigue, ahh...bliss! ( )
