It explains all the many different types of aquaintance rape from that one date guy who rapes the girl to the case of a husband who rapes his wife. Just because a woman (or man) is dating someone, it does not give the significant other the right to rape them. Just because the victim knew their attacker doesn't make it less of a rape. I HIGHLY recommend this book to EVERYONE. Men and women alike, as well as rape victims/survivors. It has a section on how loved ones can help someone who has been raped as well as people who have just been raped.
