As Will Rogers pointed out, "Everyone is ignorant, only on different subjects." Maybe that's why so many enjoy Bob Fenster's true tales of the abundant stupidity of the human race: Readers can identify-just a little-and laugh freely at those who know less. Following the success of the first Duh! book and two previous calendars, Bob Fenster has written Duh! Our Stupid World and Welcome to It, another hilarious collection of the truly stupid things people do and say. No one is safe. Whether actors or singers, politicians or statesmen, famous folks or the neighbor next door, anyone unlucky enough to make a bad decision and have a record of it is a prime target. With such topics as Dumbing Down the Arts, Stupid Sports, Dumb Ways to Die, and Government by the Idiots, the Duh! 2005 Calendar exposes the stupid (but funny) side of our culture, much to the delight of his many smart fans.… (plus d'informations)

This starts out well, but gets stupider and less funny the closer you get to the end.

Please note, I did not buy this book. My son brought it home from a second hand book sale. ( )

I enjoyed reading this on a car trip. It was good for reading aloud. The end of the book was terrible, no real facts just a lot of opinions, so my rating is based on the first half of the book. To rate the book as a whole would be one star, and I would say Don't waste your time. Could have been much better! ( )

This book is dedicated to everyone who ever thought:
Gee, that was a dumb thing to do.
But not dumb enough.
If I really knuckle down,
I can do something even dumber.

And then they do.

In 1990 a guy showed up at an Arizona hospital with an unusual problem: He'd been bitten on the tongue while kissing a rattlesnake on the mouth.
