This story is about a boy who wanted to have rooster for dinner with his mom on his name day. Some thiefes come and steal the rooster. He revenges himself on them for example by picking up a suit which one of the thiefes wanted to have refitted. He always lefts a note which says: Rooster Brother was here. He will strike again. I liked the story a lot but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to learn children that principle of "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth". Although it's an entertaining and beautifully illustrated book. ( ) Melkon lived with his mother who was a widow. They were poor and had little to eat, so on Melkon name day his mother wanted to have a feast. She sent him to get a rooster so they could eat. On his way back, three bandits stole the rooster from him, and he was upset. He followed the three men around, and tortured them. Every time he would do something to each one of them he left a note. Finally, he was able to get a goose and they had a feast after all. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
