My personal rating is really more of a 3.5 out of 5 stars, but I'll round up in this case. This was a fun quick book. I think there could've been a little bit more to the story, but it was a good setup. The characters were well written. It felt like an average, decent episode of Voyager. ( )

Not bad. The 'mind meld gone wrong' storyline isn't much better than a 'transporter accident' storyline, in my opinion, but it's not too bad. As I recall, the alien race in this one was reasonably interesting. ( )
