This is not a comic book, it's an illustrated novella. So for anyone who was expecting something big, don't get your hopes up. That said, it's a lot more illustrated than Amano's Vampire Hunter D books and it's full color to boot. Wolverine is pretty gruff looking (no bishonen here!), and Elektra looks in great form. Reminds me of some of the early Final Fantasy work before the other guy took over and went nuts with the belts. The story is okay (I think it's stand alone; the one guy acts like Logan knows him from something like the Weapon X program but the name isn't familiar) though I wouldn't go out of my way to pick up a copy. ( )

The artwork is beautiful, and the characterisation of Elektra compelling, but somehow the plot lacks momentum. Which is to say that I've never actually finished it.
