It is adorable and easy to read. Great book for use in the classroom. ( ) I love this book! The story is about a little boy who impulsively eats a thesaurus. He suddenly uses a variety of words that are synonyms for old, tired words. He becomes a boy wonder as his body digests the vocabulary. He is invited to speak at a nationally televised event with the President, but then his words fail him. He runs away to and ends up in the LIbrary of Congress. He meets a very nice librarian who explains to him that when you 'discover new words that last(s) for a lifetime.' The illustrations are fun, too, though I may be prejudice having met the illustrator. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
