Interesting retake/retooling of an old Marvel favorite...but the character at the heart of the story is neither dark enough to be an anti-hero nor moral enough to be an actual hero. Thus, it's a clumsy transition for me and I'm not interested enough nor invested enough in the character to want to pursue reading more about him after this collection. (

Eric O'Grady, Ant-Man. Since he's the protagonist, I'm guessing I was supposed to rooting for him, or at least sympathizing. Mostly I found myself thinking, "Christ, what an asshole." (
