I really liked this book. It is written in terse verse which is two words that sound alike. This book describes two children playing at the beach. I think children would like this book and be able to catch onto what is going on with the rhyming scheme. Also children might even be able to come up with their own words for the book or create a text like it. ( )

An introductory book to rhyme describing a day at the beach.

You felt as if you were at the beach on a hot summer's day by reading and looking at the pictures in "One Sun: A Book of Terse Verse". There are simply two words on each page but they say alot and go along with the pictures. It is an easy read for children and a great way to intoduce them to rhyming words. ( )
