This delightful book is a must read for any preschooler that loves trucks. It incorporates counting concepts and imagination that will surly engage the young reader. ( ) The book is about Mat who loves firetrucks. Matt's passion for fire engines permeates his whole life: For example, his first words in the morning were fire truck. The last thing he said before he went to bed was fire truck. He wasn't happy to play fireman, Matt wakes up and finds that he has actually become a fire truck. Only the insistent aroma of pancakes can bring him out of his enticing daydream. Matt's pajamas and cap are flamboyant red like his extensive collection of toy trucks, while other details of home are reduced to plain black outlines, showing how imaginary worlds can seem more real than everyday life. . I like this book because it well described the character. The character is believable in the story where it shows how little children often like something that they feel attach to it. The book shows how children like the fire truck so much, he “became” the firetruck. In reality, it would be just him plying with the fire truck but as the author described him become the firetruck, it well shows how much he likes it. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
