Book number 2 in the regarding the... series that I'm working my way through while I'm on break. This second book is even better than the first in my opinion. Sam N's 5th-grade class has become Sam N's 6th-grade class and they are trying to find their friend Florence Waters who has gone missing and hoping that she will build them a new cafeteria sink. The mystery in this book is once again very charming and fun and the names continue to be very clever. I think the plot of the book is very fun and you can really see how the characters are growing up and relationships are forming. I can't wait to read the 3rd book because it was always one of my favorites. ( )

Another great product of the Klise sisters' collaboration. I enjoy the 'learning' that sneaks into the work, but my favorite part is the detailing -all of the little pun-ny names and words, and the illustrations in borders, margins, endpages... :) These books just make me happy. ( )

Regarding the Sink is one of the books in the series by Kate Klise. Her books are fun to read. They are unique when you read them. You read the story as notes, and newspapers. The story is about a middle school, who wants a new sink for their cafeteria. The sink in the cafeteria is always getting clogged. The 6th grade class in the middle school is good friends with a fountain designer named Florence Waters. Florence tells the 6th graders, that she will create the new sink. Florence is always keeping in touch with the class, but one day she stops sending letters. The class thinks something happened to Florence, and she is lost. Her last letter said that she is in a city in China. The class goes on a field trip, and goes to China. Then they find mysterious clues about Florence there.

This book is great for wasting time. I read this book during spring break, when there was nothing to do. I like how you have to read the book in different ways. On one page, you would read a newspaper article, and then you would read a memo. This book is also a mystery. I like how 6th graders solve crimes. In the other books the kids always arrest someone at the end. I can't believe that 6th graders would arrest adults. I wish the library had all the books in the series.

This book was really, really good. It was interesting because it wasn't just writing on plain paper. It wrote all the writing in letters and newspapers. In this story Geyser creek Middle school really needs a new sink. Their old sink was clogged. They asked Florence Waters (who had designed a fountain for them) to build them a sink. But there came no reply. So Geyser Creek' s six grade class raise money to go to China (where Florence Waters ship sank) and investigate the problem. I really like how the author wrote this book. ( )

The book was interesting becasue everything connected in the end and the most talked about character was actually bad. It also had lots of newspapers in it. Interesting. ( )
