First immediate thought: I love that they include a glossary of spanish words before the book even begins. They even teach how to pronounce the words as well. I think that this would be an okay book to use in a classroom, especially if they have english language learners in it. It may prompt children to help their friends learn english while even they themselves take the time to learn a new language. ( )

This book was very well organized. I loved that it not only showed how to be aware of other people's likes and dislikes, it talked about sensitivity to other cultures as well as teaching a little spanish along the way. I felt that this was a very kid-friendly way to introduce the subjects. ( )

This book is a great introduction to the Spanish language for the little ones. The attitude of the family shows great love and inspiration for families out there. The activities of the siblings relate well to real world situations. Very well written and illustrated, ( )

I really enjoyed this book and think it would be a great book for kids in many different ways. First, the book deals with having a new brother or sister, but it also deals with the idea of adoption. And last, the little boy that is adopted also only speaks Spanish. So, this book is great for kids that are learning to speak Spanish. I really enjoyed this book.
