The author does a good job of bringing the characters to life and makes small town life a most desirable adventure. It is a well-written drama and mystery. The story is somewhat soft on how a community and family would be so welcoming to “one of their community” who comes back after making the horrible mistakes that Ivy has made but you still find the characters and story endearing. It is rather a brutal story as far as the “abuse” of the story—rather graphic and disturbing. It has a good ending leaving opportunity for a sequel. This was a quick read but one which puts the mind to work and enables/encourages the reader to explore their faith and their ability to forgive. Rating: 3 —PL aucune critique | ajouter une critique
