This book is a nice summary, defining hypochondria, giving examples of behavior of hypochontriacs, and providing possible dire diagnoses for common symptoms. It pokes gentle fun at hypochondriacs but also emphasizes the true fragility of the human body. Intelligent and humorous! ( ) A humorous guide to all the things that might be in the process of killing you right now, including your own rampaging hypochondria. Generally amusing, occasionally laugh-out-loud funny, even mildly informative and, in the end, a little poignant, in a darkly tongue-in-cheek kind of way. But, man, if I wasn't a hypochondriac when I started reading, I probably am now. Which is good timing, I guess, what with the whole swine flu thing. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
