But this particular little girl is so excited for her new big girl bed. The book goes through different things that could happen, like falling out of the bed or there being monsters, but she's perfectly okay. All she needs is her stuffed animals. This is a good book to read to kids who are going through this change. I think it will help show them that some change is good and that it'll all be just fine. ( )

Even though the little girls character is not named, we can see her character development greatly in such a short picture book. Switching bed time routines for children of a young age is a big deal, and it takes a lot of effort to do so at her age. Some young elementary students might still be struggling with their night time routines and getting comfortable with it. This book could provide them with some closure or ideas for their own personal bed time routine. ( )
