It talked about war and how it affects animals, forests, villages, and people. It explained the effects of war, such as broken cities and contaminated water. The book discussed war in a sense that it was a person, destroying things even though it could see. I think this would be a good book for older primary students because the book does talk about death and war and some other dark concepts. This book is about how war doesn't see the destruction it could cause to the more unsuspecting victims. For example it shows a donkey and a little boy thinking about dinner but he doesn't know something is going to fall down on him from the sky. This book was really sad to me. Simple, rhythmic text explores the wanton destructiveness of War, which has grown old but not wise, as it demolishes nice people and beautiful things with no consideration for the consequences. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
