This was fun to browse through, but the exercises generally used extremely toxic paint materials (requiring ventilators, etc.) . . . which just isn't something we'll be doing collaboratively at home until the boy is A LOT older. This was odd, considering I first came across this title in the Acorn Naturalists catalogue (for children's educational materials). However, I did love the playful approach to using found materials to "make your mark" without being fearful of results. Yay for process first, product second.
