The story is about Biscuit's girl taking him to a pet show. Biscuit is playful as usual and it's hard to get him out the door. Once at the pet show the book is all about Biscuit meeting new friends and old. This is a bit frustrating for his girl who would like him to stay put so he can be judged. It all works out in the end because Biscuit wins a prize. This is a great Biscuit book. Kids will love seeing old friends and all the new animals which are shown in warm, friendly colors. The ending is heartwarming with Biscuit in a basket with kittens; receiving a prize for being so friendly. I like this book because it can be shared with a wide range of ages. With toddlers and preschoolers you can point out the different animals, their names and colors. You can even count them to throw in some math. You can also add in any additional information you want, like what parrots eat, for example. Then, of course, the book is a practice reader. *Teachers should note that there is an AR exam. Very versatile book. Biscuit is a puppy whose owner is a little girl. She gets him ready for a pet show, but when they arrive at the show, Biscuit is only interested in the other animals. He doesn't get an award for tricks, but he does win one for being a good friend. This is a short book with a very little amount of words. I would recommended this book for K-1 grade. It is a hood book to help children learn to read. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
