Maybe just the manga sucks. ( ) I don't tend to read a lot of seinen, but for Blood+ I'll make an exception. When it aired as an anime, Blood+ was really exciting--the music and art pulled on your heart strings. With the manga adaptation, Asuka has captured the essence of the what makes Blood+ special. In terms of its art, the manga version has its own gripping style, which differs quite a bit from the anime. The characters feel emotionally present and the plot advances at a decent clip for such a long story. I definitely recommend the Blood+ manga.
The art is polished, with nice backgrounds and two-page spreads, and character designs which are close to the anime. An unexceptional but solid adaptation. Appartient à la sérieBlood Plus (1)

As her submerged abilities begin to reawaken and as she seeks to regain her memories, Chiropteran warriors are guided by a mysterious leader to threaten Saya and her loved ones.
