Sex with men, women, slaves, golems, indoors, outdoors, at the opera, at wedding feasts, you name they have exhibitionist sex there. The sci fi story was interesting but thin and swamped in superfluous sex. I personally don't care to read any f/f sex scenes so I skimmed those as quick as I could. Trying to think of more to say in this review but all I can come up with is hmm... ( ) This book was not very good. First of all, the protagonist was perfectly ordinary. I know that was probably the point; the author wanted a generic woman so that any woman could imagine herself being kidnapped and forced to be the wife of a muscular 7 foot tall alien. But the woman was so incredibly uninteresting I couldn't identify with her at all. So there's that. Also, this was definitely a "romance novel" in that the secondary plot was weak and underdeveloped. I've seen this done well; in this book it was not done well. I felt catered to, and it really destroyed any suspension of disbelief I might have had. Also the whole lactating blue milk thing I found icky. I can’t with this book all I could do was laugh while reading it. The book just went downhill I was confused half the time about what was going on it seems everybody was messing around when everybody it was just lots of sex even at the dinner table not cool and I don’t really care for f/f action so skipped that. There was no plot and the characters are just ridiculous. So to sum it up this book is just nothing but sex sex and more sex. I first read this book years ago and I recently got the entire Trek Mi Q'an series. I remembered I liked this book but except for Kyra being abducted and wed by a gigantic alien warrior and carried off to his planet I couldn't remember much else of the story line. I figured I would re-read this book before moving on in the series and I am glad I did. I can't believe I forgot about some of the things that went down in this story! Pretty much everything in Tryston revolves around pleasure and this book did not lack at all in that department. Kyra gradually becomes accustomed to the ways of her new people and even though there are plenty of moments where she doesn't understand she still manages to rise to the occasion. Toss in some insurrectionists that want to kill Kyra and stir to add some suspense to the book. I know people won't like all the wild and crazy that this book throws at you but there are also plenty of people like me who will enjoy the crazy things that happen in this book.
Modern day earth woman Kyra Summers is kidnapped and wed by a 7-foot tall, thickly muscled warrior claiming to be her Sacred Mate. Life on his home planet Tryston takes some getting used to, as the laws of the world cater to erotic hedonism and leave femailes at the sexual subjugation of the barbarians who claim them. No one said love with an alien would come easily. Enjoy Kyra's spicy escapades as she adjusts to life and love in another dimension. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
