This was my favorite of the Boston guides I picked up - the best historical information and sight descriptions. I like that it focuses primarily on the sights and history, because I never use a guidebook to find restaurants or shops when I'm visiting another city in the first place, and that was pretty much the focus of the other guidebooks I picked up when I went.
