After a while with no luck the duo decide to go home and are surprised when they realize that the frog followed them home. This book is beneficial to help expand the imagination while incorporating reading. Summary: A picture book that tells the story of a boy and his dog who walk in the woods and find a frog. They try to catch the frog but the frog gets away so they leave. The frog gets lonely and follows them home and they become friends. Criteria: Critique for Genre- Fantasy- Dogs don't know how to help a boy catch a frog. A frog wouldn't follow a boy home and go into his house and get into the bath. Animals are made to be friends. Age: primary Media: pencil drawing A beautiful series of illustrations which tell an amusing tale with a couple of little surprises. This book really speaks to the power of visuals, this book has no text besides the title. As you are looking through the pages your mind is telling you the words that would be there if there was text. I think this would be a great exercise for kids to see what they would write for each page and then compare it to other students in the class. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
