Many individuals and institutions contributed to the successful completion of this work. I would particularly like to thank former Cape Hatteras Group Superintendents Russell W. Berry, Jr., and Bob Reynolds, former Assistant Superintendent Mary Collier, and Resource Manager Steve Harrison for their assistance. Much of the research for this study was accomplished pursuant to a cooperative agreement with the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. We hope that this study will prove valuable to park management and others in understanding and interpreting the historical significance of the park's cultural resources.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
