The Good: Almost all the recipes are made with normal ingredients I can find at any grocery store. Lots of great color pictures and easy to follow directions. A decent index to make finding recipes easy. A great variety of recipes without including the REALLY obscure ones that no one ever makes anyway and is really just about filling space.
The Bad: As with many Betty Crocker cookbooks the majority of ingredients are packaged, frozen or canned. It's a simple matter to substitute the fresh ingredients most of the time though if you're savvy to that sort of thing and want to make a healthier meal. ( )
