I enjoyed this book for many reasons. The language used is informational, but not too much for a young child. The illustrations include diagrams that help the reader understand the text. The characters are students and can be relatable. The big idea is to teach children about the functions of a heart. ( )

Great for K thru 3 readers. This book has longer sentences and larger vocabulary that students should know. Great when talking about vital organs or just organs in general. ( )
