He makes interpretive statements without any argument, and his paragraphs seem more of a litany of facts than a well thought out summary. But my real peeve was his ubiquitous use of legitimated. ( )

Smith provides a fabulous overview of the prophets of Israel. Anyone studying this significant section of scripture would do well to have this aid to help them understand the text in its original context. ( )
