Not sure what I expected, but this was better than I expected. It would probably be helpful to have the "Never Split the Difference" book as a companion with this workbook. Would recommend purchasing this book.

Workbook: Never Split The Difference: Negotiating as if your life depended on it
Book Nerd
Reviewed 8/7/2023.
To be clear this workbook is a ride-along to the main text called "Never Split the Difference". Based on a cover-to-cover read of this workbook, I can surmise that the main text is probably practical and interesting. I can also say that the workbook itself, without the main text, isn't good for much more than advertising the main textbook. Great advertisement but hard to review without having read the main text first. "It's plausible" is about the best I can offer. Including the main text (at least an electronic version) or marking the giveaway more clearly so only those with the source text would get the workbook, would have made more sense. ( )

Why I picked this book up: I was selected for the June 2023 batch of early reviewer and as agreed I am reviewing this book.

This workbook highlights summarized 10 chapters, asks questions to help personalize the topics and allows space for writing.

Why I finished this read: I am a Licensed Psychologist, clinical. This is a very concise, and has much more in-depth information which I’m guessing is in the book.

Stars rating: I gave this a 4 of 5 stars because even though it highlights important aspects that I’ve learned in the past, it needs to go along with this full books but a good small book I’d recommend for buying both this workbook and the original book to get more value. ( )

Never Split the Difference is one of my favorite negotiating books. But not even if you are a mediator, just if you ever have ANY conversations where you want something different than another person ... and isn't that all of us? Anyway, the book is so fab - and now we have this workbook to go along with it! It isn't a replacement for reading the book, but there are some really helpful questions and reflections in here to kind of put the information from the book to use in your actual life. I highly recommend both the book and also this wonderful workbook to go with it! ( )
