Eli is helping a famous evangelist, Isaac Inman, but has fallen ill before June arrives. When Eli suddenly dies, June decides to stay on and help Isaac build his "showy tabernacle". She also sees a great need to help the local orphanage too. Eli's friend Parker Sentell, doesn't see eye to eye with Isaac and his failure to help the orphanage over collecting money for his huge work. June tries to see both men's point of view, but seems all she does is fight with Parker. Can June and Parker ever come to terms with their true feelings for each other? This was another delightful tale of the Kallahan sisters who set out to be mail-order brides. The stories are easy to read and enjoyable to see how God works things out in the end. You could easily read this story as a stand alone book, but having read book one, "Faith", I recommend them all, as so far I have not been disappointed. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
