I thought the premise had real promise, but it turned out to be pretty hokey. The future Graces weren't really developed at all, which was a shame since there was a lot of potential there. I also thought that Lily should have been discussed for more than 2 pages, given that she is in the title.

I liked the idea of this book - the past and future selves of a young woman meeting all at once. It is an interesting idea for a memoir. However, the deeper parts of the book weren't developed too well. I hardly knew who Lily was, then suddenly she was very important. However, I gave it a three because of the cleverness of the story and the fact that I liked the characters. ( )

I am crazy for Derek Kirk Kim, and even though Good As Lily is not as well-written or drawn as Same Difference, it's better than any of the other Minx books and better than most comix this year. ( )

I'm pretty pleased--even impressed--with the Minx line so far, despite its stupid name. Derek Kirk Kim and Jesse Hamm--what else do I need to say? I enjoyed this quite a bit. A little too generic to be 5-star, but kept me guessing enough for 4. ( )
