The M'Nele family moves into their new home to discover that they are not the only ones living in the house. With the help of a powerful Seer, Laoise, the family try to discover who the others are. After learning to live with the dead, fear still lingers through their bones as the other Invisible Ones have yet to be figured out. But soon they would know exactly who these others are, as the mother and daughter are abducted by extraterrestrials. Aboard the spaceship, the mother and daughter would discover the past. With the mother now severely sick, a few of the extraterrestrials seek to help the mother and return the family to their home, before it's too late. Upon returning to their spaceship, the few start a rebellion to free themselves from their tyrant leaders, the Elders. After winning their freedom, they begin their new society. Some would decide to not return to their home planet, Nermaerius, but instead set up a colony near Earth. As the colonists become closer to each other, the magickal workings of the mysterious Lady of Light, Iannastarkis, begins to come alive. Several of the extraterrestrials would find themselves with child. A gift from the ascended one, to birth the new generation of Nermaerians. But when the young M'Nele daughter starts changing, fear strikes down this joyous celebration. Once again, the Elders' sinister plans come to life as the child was found to have been impregnated. After traveling to the nearby Nermaerian settlement, the last remnant of the Elders' nefarious plan is quickly extinguished. Now, with the births of the next generation of Nermaerians, both Earthling and Nermaerian celebrate and move forward with their lives. And we learn of this tale through one of the deceased that provided help along the way, and who has watched over the M'Nele family ever since they came to live in the house on the hill in Tarlostone.
