So the analysis of the poem about Paul Bunyan and his wife creeped me out. It isn't romantic as the editor claims but kinda stalkerish. The commentary from the editor ruins the poetry to be honest. The poem about the Morgan horse was good, the one about the snow excellent but there is a little too much hero worship going on. ( ) This is a lovely collection of Frost's poems, edited by Louis Untermeyer, a prominent literary critic in the mid-20th century . Untermeyer has organized the poems thematically, with an introduction to each themed group. The whole book is liberally illustrated by John O'Hara Cosgrove in a style emulating wood engravings. Unfortunately our copy fell apart with age. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
