Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing. This title was provided for free to me in return for a review.I was generally excited to read a summary of a book that I wanted to read, but really didn't have time for. What I found instead was a sloppy 57 pages of constant grammar errors, a couple microaggressions, that were maybe they were present in the original material, but they didn't need to get transferred to the summary that the publisher didn't even bother to format for electronic viewing. The "eBook" sent to me was really just a PDF of the print book, formatted for printing and not as a proper eBook with appropriate arrangement for the format. It is formatted with offsets that are very distracting and makes virtually any readability feature of a modern eReader useless. It looks like the work of a publishing mill just hoping to make money off the work of others. With proper editing and formatting, the whole 57 page mess would likely be 20 pages long. Should have just read the book instead. This "book" is $5.99 for a poor quality, badly formatted summary, while the original work is $9.49. Just buy the original work and skim it, you'll be better for it. If I had not received the book for free, I would be upset I had paid for it. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

I was interest in David Goggin's book, but wasn't sure I had the time or focus to read it properly. I thought it might be ideal to read a book summary. And although it covered highlights & summed up a few things ... the summary itself was boring and bland. It didn't draw any emotion at all, and certainly didn't make me want to read the original book.
I'm not sure if this was done by AI or a human person, but either way ... skip out on it. ( )
