Un bon livre agréable à lire même si on a l'impression d'avoir lu 100 fois cette même histoire. Un homme aime une femme depuis des années, il l'a vue se marrier, avoir un amant et des enfants. Il a suivi la déchéance du mari (un de ses amis) et il est hanté par le souvenir d'un bref instant de sensualité partagée. Cette femme est enfin libre et c'est à l'occasion d'une anti-cérémonie qu'ils vont enfin aborder le sujet. J'ai bien aimé l'architecture du livre avec cette rupture centrale qui fait passer du rappel du passé à la possibilité d'un avenir. La figure du defunt mari soutient l'histoire tout du long ce qui donne une couleur étrange à l'ensemble. Cela dit il n'y a rien, me semble-t-il, qui rende ce livre incontournable. ( )
