LOG EIGHT: Like the other books in this series, this adds another chunk of adventure onto the short animated episode. In this case, the Enterprise goes and hunts an enormous spacedwelling being to live in the Lactrans' zoo in their place. The morality of keeping animals in zoos is never discussed.
LOG NINE: As with others in this series, this novelizes the TAS episode and then adds onto it - a segment where the Pandronians have lost the "Tam Paupa," a living crown that adds to the intelligence of its wearer, in a Klingon plot. The Pandronians remind me a lot of L. Frank Baum's creatures. That isn't to say it was a good book, lol - it was not - but might have been a good longer episode.
