Fitz recalls the events prior to the disappearance of his friend Cassie. They are in a band together after school but things start going wrong when Cassie claims that she could hear this buzzing sound in the air constantly. Eventually she researches that some people on the internet believed that it was the planet making the noise because of all the destruction happening to it. Fitz worries that Cassie has taken herself off to meet a group of people who believe something that other people think is crazy, or she's been abducted by them as she is seen getting on a train with her bike, but its found abandoned a few stops later and she's taken the sim card out of her phone to disable it. Or has someone else? What has happened to her?
