( ) Interesting but not terribly amusing; perhaps I need the protracted edition. Latin or Proto-Germanic are the be-alls and end-alls; what about proto-Indo-European? I've gotten interested in that. Maybe there are some etymological specifications of which I am unaware. I found a strange little error: "The meaning of a flexible rubber tube to carry liquid is first recorded in 1339." How can this be? There were no flexible (or inflexible) rubber tubes in 1339 because there was no rubber in the Old World. Slips such as this bother me because I lose confidence in the accuracy of the book. I also wonder what flexible tubing was made from in 1339. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
