I thought this one was a little hot and cold. The first third or half was not that great, but it started getting more interesting around half way. But for some reason, it didn't seem to progress that smoothly to me, and I thought it could have used some editing or something to take out some redundant or repetitive stuff. One whole chapter was devoted to looking for a way to play a DVD, unsuccessfully. They finally, in a later chapter, found an obvious choice. All in all, it was a decent read, but at times I got impatient and wanted it to move along faster. I suppose I expected more from this team. I've enjoyed a few David Ellis books, and haven't really read much, if anything, by Patterson but expected more considering his popularity. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

HTML:In this follow-up to the #1 bestselling thriller Invisible, every perfect murder looks like an accident, but as bodies start to pile up across the country, two FBI agents realize that something horrible is happening. FBI agent Emmy Dockery is absolutely relentless. She's young and driven, and her unique skill at seeing connections others miss has brought her an impressive string of arrests. But a shocking new case â?? unfolding across the country â?? has left her utterly baffled. The victims all appear to have died by accident, and have seemingly nothing in common. But this many deaths can't be coincidence. And the killer is somehow one step ahead of every move Dockery makes. How? To FBI special agent Harrison "Books" Bookman, everyone in the FBI is a suspect â?? particularly Emmy Dockery (the fact that she's his ex-fiancee doesn't make it easier). But someone else is watching Dockery. Studying, learning, waiting. Until it's the perfect time t Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
