Jenkins is an interesting read and one that rises above most business books out there. The author espouses that there are specific steps you can take to grow and sustain your business to reach new levels of success. With the Realization Framework Experience, a specific program whereby you learn the following: how to visualize the future, how to evaluate the people who are directly involved in making your vision a reality, how to calculate and assess necessary cash flow, how to clarify or create a clear plan for the future, and finally, how to realize the future, you can improve your business success. With this methodology you can get your business back on track, creating the vision and success you initially envisioned when you started out. This book is written in a clear and encouraging manner, is full of great advice, and is positive. Highly recommended for entrepreneurs struggling to move to the next level. ( ) Though there is no "one size fits all" guide to success, Vision to Reality: Stop Working, Start Living by Curtis Jenkins has five strategic steps of The Realization Framework Experience that can guide you towards your unique image of achievement. The author lays out master concepts in this book so entrepreneurs and small businesses can get ahead by working a system that brings about their desired results; time management, financial increase, and satisfaction. I felt Curtis Jenkins knew what he was talking about as I read this book. The chapter, Organize for Success, lays it out simply and revealed how to put everything into practice. I highly recommend this book for its clear business practices and production enhancement. The truth is that all leaders—entrepreneurs, CEOs, and everyone in between—can be led astray to the point where they are working only in their business andnot in their business. This book is primarily intended for businesspeople—Entrepreneurs who have already answered “why” they are inI hope to learn the “how” to successfully grow a business.their company. This shows how to capture your business ideas and turn them into assets that multiply your company's value. Many business owners think that in order to expand their companies, they must continuously put in more effort. They fail to see the value of the team, the finances, and a well-thought-out plan that needs to be carried out and modified on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. They frequently labour harder and harder "in the business," creating new jobs for themselves instead of assuming leadership roles and managing an efficient operation, so they lack an understanding of the idea of working "on the business." The book is unexpectedly entertaining to read; it is also well-written and captivating. The book is extremely well-researched and supported by reliable information. This is genuinely the most engaging and understandable manual for such a crucial subject with difficult solutions. Author Curtis L. Jenkins earned his degree in Business Administration from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and Management and his master’s degree in management of technology from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and among his many accomplishments he is acknowledged as the business ambassador in creating trust-based relationships and the organizational adoption of change strategies. He developed the talent to grow non-profit businesses by focusing on the membership (people) and money (cash flow and fundraising), and manages business portfolios and IT projects, utilizing global talent and developing program management offices and projects for new companies. His philosophy - ‘Project management is the basis of realizing every idea from concept to reality.’ His initial book was THE ONLY JOB SEARCH BOOK YOU WILL EVER NEED. Jenkins believes that bringing a vision to reality requires creativity and soft skills – his Realization Framework Experience, or - first understanding the vision, communicating this vision regularly, and the importance of recognition of employees. In this immensely impressive and invaluable book, he explains the processes of focusing on a vision for growth and implementing new ideas and higher standards by defining the ‘problem’ that needs resolution (avoiding misdiagnosing the problem!) and implementing the five steps of his RFE: Visualize the future, Evaluate people involved in making a dream come true, Calculate the budgets and cash flow, Clarify the plan for the future, and Realize the future (a pathway to the next beginning). Jenkins presents excellent case studies using this technique and the results are impressive. For every business, from start-ups to major companies, this book is a most valuable resource for success – the Jenkins Way. Very highly recommended. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
