As time has gone on the style of Marc Cameron's storytelling has gotten closer to that of the master and this was the best effort yet. Did a very good job of including all the characters we know and love ( ) In the past I thought the Jack Ryan SR books were better than the Jack Ryan JR books. However, the last two books: Junior's Enemy Contact and then Senior's Code of Honor have switched things for me. Enemy Contact was better than Code of Honor, though I am giving both 3 stars. Enemy Contact had a couple things that knocked rating down to three. Code of Honor was three all the way through. It's all about the authors. I am not crazy about Peter Telep or Grant Blackwood. I enjoy Mark Greaney and Marc Cameron, though this book was not a good one from Cameron. I am happy to say that Mike Maden is getting better. 7/20/2021; 152 members: 3.76 average rating This is a pretty good read although the descriptions are fairly detailed--particularly in regard to the naval ships, planes, and helicopters described prior to any action. The Campus operatives are sent off to Indonesia to get back the Calliope program which was sold to a games developer and stolen by the Chinese. This program seems to have a mind of its own which directs it while completing its assignment. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

HTML:As President of the United States, Jack Ryan has faced many challenges, but none have been as personal as this and never has he been this helpless in the face of evil in the latest entry in Tom Clancy's #1 New York Times bestselling series. Father Pat West, S.J. was a buddy of the young Jack Ryan when they were both undergraduates at Boston College. Father West left a comfortable job in the philosophy department at Georgetown to work with the poor in Indonesia. Now he's been arrested and accused of blasphemy against Islam. President Ryan is desperate to rescue his old friend, but he can't move officially against the Indonesians. Instead he relies on the Campus team to find out who is framing the priest. There's one other twist to the story. President Ryan discovers a text on his private cell phone from the priest warning about a coming attack against America...
