For me, this book is perfect lol. I really enjoyed book one in this series, That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon, and I was so happy with this book. Kimberly Lemming is fast becoming one of my favorite authors - I love how she shifts from serious to hilarious and back with such ease.

This book involves a love spell that was meant for one character (Brie) accidentally getting used on another (Felix). The roofey aspect of love spells is addressed and how consent is taken away from the person that has had a love spell used on them. The author did a pretty good job navigating this - and it does make me consider wider questions like how to consent or is there consent in altered states? Consent is dynamic so it should be practiced that way - checking-in and verbalizing concerns or needs and changes to those things is normal.

Another quick, fun fantasy romance from Kimberly Lemming! Plenty of spice in this one too. The creativity of the insults hits me in just the right spot and I love how the characters interact. If you are looking for something light with plenty of spice I definitely recommend!

I'm excited to continue and see who the next book focuses on! ( )

What a super fun read! I absolutely adored Felix and Brie ( )

I think I'm just going to say the same thing for book 2, now with surprise tentacles.

I love me some lighthearted smut, and this absolutely fits the bill. Very smut, very fantasy, very silly in parts, and just a great departure from every day life. This one is about a cheesemonger and a lactose intolerant werewolf -- what's not to love? I'm absolutely sure I would have issues with the plot if I decided to think too hard about it, and I just am cool with it. It's very explicit and not even pretending to take itself seriously.

Another cute and fun read from Kimberly Lemming! I loved this book. Brie is just too adorable. The Mead Mishaps series is just so cuddling and easy to read. Getting a visit from some characters from the previous books Fallon, Cin, Ushan, Dante, and Alexis is always a pleasure. Alexis is just fantastic comic relief! If Alexis ever gets herself into a body I swear that book would be too much fun! I would probably die from laughing.

Felix and Brie are such a cute match. I just love this world Kimberly has built. There are so many avenues she can go with the stories because she has filled the world with so many lovable characters. Like the orc that has a crush on the barmaid is just one example. I am so so ready to get my hands on the next book. I can't wait! ( )
