A fun and informative coloring book for basic Microbiology. Gives the student a good introduction into the world of Microbiology. Also, an interesting refresher, to brush up on past knowledge. ( )

Don't buy this as an ebook. I received it as an ebook and it is useless for anything except to look over for a review... I can't actually use it and see if it helped my child. So, my review is only from glancing through it.

As an ebook there is way too much color to print from your home. I would have to have it printed at an office store. I guess I could only print the pages in black and white for coloring.

As a supplement for jr. high/sr. high this is fine. The format is a basic workbook format. Facts, diagram, your turn to color. So, it is fine, as I assume there are not many microbiology coloring books out there. I found the font hard to read.

This book is certainly not very technical and written for a young student. Not what I was expecting. I expected much more information. ( )

This book was very helpful and informative. The coloring broke up the heaviness of the information and made it easy to learn. The multiple choice questions were difficult enough to be engaging without being frustrating. ( )

I can see this book in a pedestrian's office, with a box of pencils. Thumbnail sketches of microscopic life, with examples, and questions. I would not give this book to a permed student, I would give it too jr/high school teachers. ( )

This study guide, which appears to be directed towards science-minded students, is a fun way to memorize the various cells, processes, and relevant facts.
The various coloring pages allow for the reader (or student) to make the diagrams their own. The quiz at the end of the book is useful as a refresher/chance to identify learning gaps.

I found this book to be fun, and although not a microbiology student myself, I learned a lot while working through this guide.

Recommended for: microbiology students, those who have an interest in science, and those who enjoy different styles of coloring books. ( )
