He roped the sun and made it move slower across the Earth, making the days longer. In this rendition of the story, Maui is a very relateable character for younger kids. He is frustrated about the sun moving so quickly because he just wants to play longer. Younger children can, of course, relate to this. Because of the engaging pictures, this book would peak student's interest. It is a great version of this story for younger children. It includes repition and a slow, climatic build. Students would enjoy Maui's love for playing and his questioning attitude. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
Recounts how Maui uses his magical powers to slow the path of the sun across the sky, thus allowing crops more time to grow, fishermen more time to fish, and children more time to play. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
