Love Shines Through!

Want harmony instead of fighting, and crying among children? Try teaching them love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. This pretty picture book illustrates how to do that.

Children, like adults, can't always be perfect and follow these recommendations every time, but any attempt to do them will make everyone's lives much better. This book states that just one act of kindness can change the world, so put these things into action!

The best way for children to learn these characteristics is for the adults around them to model them. Also known as the fruits of the Spirit, these traits will make adult's lives happier, too, when they practice them.

Over-sized and hard-backed, this book contains a nice encouraging note from the authors in the back.

This 5-star book is recommended for ages 3 through 3rd grade, and adults of all ages who want a peaceful family.

This beautifully illustrated children's book is lovely for teaching our children about the fruits of the Spirit. With real life examples, this easy-to-read book is simple for all ages to understand. It is written in lovely rhymes that can even be memorized and sung.

One of the most convicting parts of Scripture for me is this very one from Galatians. To have a children's book to help our little ones understand how we are to behave as Christians is essential to being followers of Jesus. I would recommend this sweet book for all with young babies and growing toddlers, longing to raise tiny disciples. 4/5 stars!

P.S. For those saying this book is racist, I did not see that at all. There are various scenes of children of color doing good things, and not just stealing. The example of stealing is an example of self-control, which all of us should learn to implement in our lives. ( )

The best part of this book, You Can Shine So Bright, is the illustrations. Beautiful works of art, Naomi. The Littles loved the pictures. ( )

You Can Shine So Bright! is a book about the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). The illustrations shows examples of how a child can show the fruits of the spirit in everyday situations in their life. Children will like the bright, colorful pictures and the story that goes along with the illustrations so perfectly. You don't often come upon a book like this -- Get it! @worthykidsbooks

You Can Shine So Bright! Is a great way for young toddlers to read and learn the fruits of the Spirit and how each can be applied to their lives. My three-year-old loved the story and understood what each "fruit" was and how he could use it in his life. It's a great way to introduce Biblical teaching into your kids lives and I would highly recommend it to those with toddlers just starting to gain their comprehension abilities. ( )
