An excellent book written by a University of Toronto engineering professor, Kim Vicente. He's worked trying to figure out what exactly it is that CANDU Authorized Nuclear Operators do. The class he teaches about the Fender Stratocaster guitar is more interesting.

You could summarized the book as "It's management's fault" (which we always knew) but he goes even higher than that! You'll find his analysis of the Walkerton contaminated water deaths thought-provoking.

This book should be one everyone's mandatory reading list. But don't be intimidated; it's an easy, enjoyable read. ( )
