While this is a modest booklet of 32 pages published by the Odlum Group in Ireland (producers of flour and baking mixes) that I received by sending in coupons from packs of flour in 2005, it is useful for its short glossary of baking terms, the handy baking and storing tips, and for analyzing what went wrong if your baking results were not what you expected. The recipes are basic, easy to do, and reliable. It covers most Irish staples, such as soda and yeast bread, quiches, muffins, buns, flapjacks, fruit cake, tea brack, apple tart, apple crumble, and chocolate ring cake.
