Although this is the concluding part of the series, and was wonderfully intriguing, it's left me with a lot of questions as to what was really going on through several incidences in the four parts. I won't be specific (no spoilers from me) but it's cases of: if that's what was going on, how is this other thing explained? So, essentially the series maintains its aura of mystery even as it ends. Ends are tied together, closure does occur, but there are enough frayed threads to make you wonder about things. ( ) The Answer Review of the Amazon Original Kindle eBook (May 2021) This 4th episode continues the creepy serial thriller of House of Crows, which features a haunting/possession theme that involves four adults who were summer friends in their teenage youth. In Love the Way You Lie Matthew, Mason, Ian and Clair are all back at Merle House and a final confrontation and solution is provoked when Matthew's daughter Jewel goes missing. The answer is more along the lines of the physical world though and the supernatural element of the plot is mostly abandoned. Overall this was still an effective thriller. Love the Way You Lie is the 4th of the 4 novellas making up the serialized supernatural fiction novel House of Crows, released simultaneously on May 27, 2021 as an eBook by Amazon Original and as an audiobook by Audible Original. Exciting conclusion to the four-book short story serial “House of Crows”. I liked how all the characters from the previous books were assembled towards the end, and the secrets of the past were revealed. This whole series was really good, with terrific atmosphere, interesting characters, and a captivating storyline. These stories should be read in order since the story keeps continuing. A very enjoyable series. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
